*pledges to focus on human capital development

Ahead of the 2023 general elections in Nigeria, the governorship candidate of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Ebonyi State, Ifeanyi Odii has assured the supporters of the party in the state of victory during the forthcoming general elections.
He also pledged to place more emphasis on human capital development if given the mandate to pilot the affairs of the state.
The PDP gubernatorial candidate gave this assurances while addressing newsmen after their meeting in Abakaliki on Friday.
Chief Odii called on the supporters of the party to be steadfast and committed to ensuring victory of the party at all levels in state, adding that part of his manifesto, is to lift Ebonyians out of poverty through human capital development, knowing fully well that it is one of the greatest challenges facing the state since its creation.
He therefore, encouraged Ebonyians not to be deceived by anybody, but do everything possible to get their PVCs ready in order not to be disenfranchised during the election.
He further noted that 2023 general elections is not going to be business as usual as INEC has put everything in place to ensure free, fair, and credible election in Nigeria.
The meeting was attended by party stalwarts and stakeholders from different parts of the state.
