Accord gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has promised to provide essential amenities for people of Oke Ogun and the state at large, if elected as the governor in the 2023 general elections.
Chief Adelabu gave the promise while welcoming decampees into Accord during his campaign tour to Oke Ogun area of Oyo Stat,e in preparation to the 2023 general elections
The Accord governorship candidate listed the essential amenities to be provided by his administration to include, ” low cost housing, revolving loans for farmers, market men and women, health facilities and free education”.
He stressed that Accord remains the only politicise party to beat in Oyo state as far as the forthcoming general elections will be concerned and that members of the party should brace up for the task ahead of the party.
Chief Adelabu then welcomed the former Saki East local chairman, Engr Dele Adesina and thousands of his supporters from the PDP into Accord
The Director General Accord Campaign Council, Olooye Adegoke while speaking expressed optimism that the party would emerge victorious in the 2023 election, saying, ” if Accord gets into power, the party would ensure local governments autonomy so that development can get to the grassroots”.
Olooye Adegoke stressed that Accord would ensure good road networks to ensure smooth transportation of agricultural inputs from Oke-Ogun to various towns and cities across the state and beyond.
The campaign team earlier in the day visited the Onibaasi of Baasi in Atisbo local government, Oba Azeez Babatunde for his royal blessing.
Oba Babatunde while speaking assured the campaign council of the unflinching support of his people and that the people of Ibadan should cast their votes for one of them, who have most of his investments in Ibadan and across other towns in the state unlike some candidates, whom their means of livelihood are unknown to the people.
