Husseini Lawal who hails from Kabo Local Government of Kano State has arrived Lagos in support of the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has indicated interest for Nigeria’s Presidency come 2023.

The 30-year-old who departed Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory on March 9, 2022 has described the journey as a morale booster and his contribution towards declaring total support for Tinubu.
Lawal said,  “I have never met Bola Ahmed Tinubu in my life. I just love his personality because he has impacted many people.
“It is on record that Tinubu immensely supported Muhammadu Buhari to emerge as President in 2015. He equally endorsed Prof. Yemi Osinbajo for Vice President and so many other people in their political careers”.
Having arrived Lagos, his first port of call was the  Temporary Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Lagos State Council, located within the premises of Lagos Television, Agidingbi Ikeja, and thereafter proceeded to the Ikoyi residence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The petty trader hinted on three major areas that must form the nucleus of the agenda of the former Governor of Lagos State to Nigerians.
‘”I want Tinubu to address security challenges such as  kidnapping and banditry, high cost of living as well as quality and affordable education for all,” Lawal said.
On his part, Lagos NUJ Chairman, Mr Adeleye Ajayi commended Lawal for achieving a great feat having claimed to have walked (752km) from Abuja to Lagos in support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“We thank God that  Mallam Husseini Lawal has successfully done this to display his confidence in Asiwaju’s ability and diligence to lead Nigeria come 2023.
“The walk embarked upon by Lawal is also a clarion call to Tinubu to include youth in his scheme and turn around  the lives of Nigerians for good,” Ajayi said.
Other Lagos NUJ Executives in attendance included, Mr. Tunde Olalere, Secretary, Lagos NUJ; and Mr Olayide Awosanya, an Ex-Officio of the Lagos State NUJ.
Also present was Mr Chris Richards, a Veteran Journalist, who facilitated the visit of Lawal to Lagos NUJ Secretariat on Thursday.
