Acting Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe has called on women to be united among themselves in order to achieve their goals in the forthcoming election.
Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa expressed this when the delegations of Women Mobilization Committee of Kaduna State APC Governorship Campaign Council who came on courtesy visit to government house in Kaduna.
She noted that people have given women names that they do not want.
“I want you to prove everybody wrong by uniting with one another in order to achieve your goals,” she advised.
She said, “women are supposed to be examples that others should follow, in the kind of leadership that we provide.
“Whenever we are together, we should be united. It is time to deliver and you cannot deliver if you work without uniting yourselves,” she said.
Dr. Sabuwa told them that, “in this election, we have large numbers of undecided voters and most people are women. How can we identify women who have potentials, who are looking for a platform to express themselves but do not have the opportunities?” She said.
She urged them to be good ambassadors at all times, especially during interaction with colleagues in order to unite their party.
“Let’s look at ourselves objectively, let’s reflect on how we’ve been relating with one another, because that is what we will project out. You cannot come and talk to me about something if I look at you and I have doubt about what you are preaching.
“Women constitutes a large number of voters, but when we go out to vote and there’s a woman standing in for that election, we turn our back on that woman, how can we change that narratives? We need to change it, we need to understand unless we are together, we can never achieve anything.
“What do you really think, we should do to bring women, we need to united for us to achieve our purposed,” she noted.
