2023: Buhari Joins Tinubu Katsina Campaign Rally

 President Muhammad Buhari has led Asuwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu  campaign in Katsina State.

The President who arrived Umar Musa Yar’adua International Airport Katsina at evening hours, was received by  Governor Aminu Bello Masari, his deputy Alhaji Mannir Yakubu, Speaker State House of Assembly, Alhaji Tasi’u Musa Maigari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asuwaju Bola Ahmed and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

 Also at the airport, were,  National Chairman of the APC Senator Abdullahi Adamu, Speaker House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and some federal legislators, Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, some APC governors led by the Director General of Tinubu-Shettima Campaign Council, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State.

 Shortly after arrival, Governor Aminu Masari led the President to the palace of the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumin Kabir Usman.

Governor Masari  reminded Nigerian electorate that leadership at any level requires committed personalities who know the right direction.

The governor was speaking at the Asiwaju-Shettima presidential campaign rally held at Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina.

Alhaji Aminu Masari observed that Nigeria’s politics never attracted the full participation of youth like during the Buhari administration.

The governor, who recalled various social intervention programmes initiated by the Buhari-led government, urged the electorate to vote wisely in ensuring serious candidates fielded by the APC emerge victorious at the coming general elections.

In an address before raising the hands of the APC presidential and gubernatorial candidates, President Muhammadu Buhari enjoined Nigerians to vote for APC candidates at all levels.

The President registered condolences over the loss of dozens of members of a vigilante group from Bakori and some residents.

The APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu presented a flag to the Katsina State APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda.

Also speaking, the APC presidential candidate, Asuwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who regretted the killings in Bakori, said the party and all meaning Nigerians share in the sorrow.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu who donated the sum of one hundred million Naira to the victims, assured of eliminating banditry if elected.

 The State APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda expressed gratitude to people of the state for their support and large turn out to welcome the presidential candidate.

Chairman Progressives Governors Forum, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State also registered condolence to President Muhammadu Buhari, government and people of Katsina State over the killings.

 The rally also sympathized and offered special prayers for the victims.
