*says incumbent PDP govt giving flimsy excuses to justify failures

Oyo State Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Teslim Folarin on Monday, said APC will not be a failure in the state if voted into power in the 2023 general elections
The governorship candidate made this known in Ibadan at the inauguration of 2023 Oyo APC Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council held at the party’s state secretariat.
According to Senator Folarin, as far as the All Progressives Congress (APC) is concerned in Oyo state, ” there is no failure in our dictionary” and that his mandate is to serve the people of the state and not to rule them
” Unlike the incumbent administration in the state, APC government under my administration will not give flimsy excuses to justify failures in education, health, agriculture, security, environment and other sectors of Oyo State economy. I want to declare that there is no “FAILURE” in our dictionary”, he said.
Senator Folarin added, ” I want to restate that I am not seeking the mandate of Oyo State citizens and residents to rule but to serve the State. Our mission is to move Oyo State Forward for Growth and Development, and to restore her dignity and pace-setting status”.
The APC governorship candidate stressed further that his administration will focus more attention on bringing growth and development to the Oke Ogun zone area of Oyo state, considering the fact that ” Agriculture is the panacea for sustainable growth and development, therefore we shall leverage on our agricultural potentials to grow Oyo State economy”.
” May I use this opportunity to allay the fears of the people of Oke-Ogun that our administration will not insult your sensibilities by turning the agrarian zone of Oyo State to a destitute and beggars’ Centre as captured in the manifesto of the present government in the State, instead we shall bring growth and development to the zone. Agriculture is the panacea for sustainable growth and development”.
The governorship candidate stressed, ” therefore we shall leverage on our agricultural potentials to grow Oyo State economy, address food insecurity, and create massive employment opportunities for millions of unemployed youths of Oyo State”, and that ” therefore, Oke-Ogun is a goldmine, not Centre For Destitute and Beggars”.
” I am happy that the campaign council is composed of people with proven characters, competence and capacity required to take us to victory land. I assure the campaign council of our cooperation. You lead and we (the candidates) follow!”
Speaking, Director General of the Campaign Committee, Dr Isiaka Kolawole disclosed that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu with his qualitative leadership and track of excellent performance as a public administrator will undoubtedly reposition Nigeria for the betterment of the downtrodden masses.
” I am convinced that Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin as Executive Governor of Oyo State come 2023 will be the best thing to happen to the Pacesetter State. Since the age of 39, he has been providing qualitative representation, not only to the great people of Oyo Central Senatorial District but also Oyo State at large”, he said.
The Campaign DG added, “Today, he is the first-ever three-term senator in our state with lots of lofty achievements. Asaaju Olubadan of Ibadanland is genuinely passionate to serve the people of Oyo State. He is determined to move Oyo State Forward for Growth and Development, and will not be an accidental governor, as he is well prepared for good governance.
