2023: Adamu’s Ex-Wife Joins Guber Race, Picks APC Forms To Challenge Gov Sule

Dr. Fatimah Abdullahi has picked the expression of interest and nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to run for gubernatorial race in the 2023 general elections. 
She picked the forms to challenge Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for the ticket of the ruling party, stressing that the state deserves better. 
Fatimah, a 43-year-old University of Leeds trained Medical Doctor is the former wife of the state’s first executive governor and now National Chairman of the governing party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu. 
A seasoned public health practitioner, she lamented that the state was in dire need of change in leadership, hence her decision to offer herself for service. 
The 43-year-old who also holds a Master’s degree in Health Economics from the Bayero University Kano (BUK) vowed to prioritize job creation and human capital development, education and health, and economic growth with focus on Agriculture and Solid Minerals if elected as Governor.
