126 FCE Zaria Lecturers Benefit From TETFUND Study  Grants – Provost

The Provost, Federal College of Education (FCE) Zaria, Dr. Sulaiman Balarabe has said that about 126 FCE Zaria lecturers have benefitted from Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND)  for their PhD and Masters Degree programmes.

Balarabe who stated this  during the matriculation ceremony of about 4,000 National Certificate of Education (NCE) regular students.

He said some of the lecturers will study  outside the country, while some in Nigerian universities.

The provost said the courses are sciences, education and social sciences among others.

 On the enrollment of the new students, Balarabe  said that about 3,348 students got admission under the NCE regular programme for 2021- 2022 academic session.

He explained that the enrollment this academic session  reduced due to economic situations of most parents.

According to him, the college management introduced flexibility on the payment of school fees to assist parents.

The provost charged new students to pay their school fees at authorized payment centers.

He warned the new students to shun examination malpractices, cultism or any immoral behaviour during and after their courses.
