Gov Ajimobi appoints Chief of Staff, Deputy, 9 Special Advisers

Governor Abiola Ajimobi on Friday appointed Dr. Gbade Ojo and Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin as his Chief of Staff and and the Deputy Chief of Staff respectively.
The appointment was contained in a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Communication and Strategy, Mr. Yomi Layinka.
According to the statement, Governor Ajimobi also appointed Mr. Seyi Adisa as Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Segun Abolarinwa as Special Adviser on Security. Mr. Niyi Ajao, Special Adviser on Information Communication Technology (ICT); Mr. Biyi Oloko, Bureau of Internal Revenue; and Hon. Matthew Oyedokun, Solid Minerals.
Others included Ms. Folakemi Akinleye, Special Adviser, Public-Private Partnership; Mrs. Rose Oyedele, Due Process; Mrs.Tolu Sadipe, Projects; and Mr. Tope Fajana, who is yet to be assigned a portfolio.
The New Chief of Staff, Dr Ojo, an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Ilorin, was Gov Ajimobi’s Special Adviser on Political Matters during the governor’s first tenure, while Dr Gbadegesin, a Neuroscientist, served as Commissioner for Health during the last dispensation.
