Adeleke: Osun Declares 3 days Mourning, Orders Flags To Fly Half Mast

Osun State Government on Monday declared a three-day mourning in honour of the late first civilian governor of the state, Senator Isiaka Adeleke.
According to a statement by the Director of Communication and Strategy, Office of the Governor,Alhaji Semiu Okanlawon, the mourning period commences from Monday, April 24 and that during the period of mourning,all flags are to fly half mast.
“This is to announce that the Governor of the state of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has directed the declaration of a three day period of mourning throughout the state”he said.
The governor added that   “the mourning period commences from Monday,April 24. During the period of mourning,all flags are to fly half mast”.
The governor stressed further that “this is in honour of the departed first civilian Governor of the State of Osun, Alhaji Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke”
It would be recalled that Senator Adeleke who until his death was the Senator representing Osun West Senatorial district died on Sunday morning at Biket hospital Osogbo where he was rushed to earlier in the day .
