Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum has approved the release of N 55.9m as scholarship allowances for 153 Borno State indigene students studying at the Federal University of Health Sciences Azare Bauchi in different courses that will be useful to the state.
Malam Bala Isa Executive Secretary of the Borno State Scholarship Board, made the announcement on Friday January 5, while briefing journalists at the board’s conference hall in Maiduguri
The ES also extended the goodwill message of the Honourable Commissioner of the Ministry of Higher Education Innovation, Hon. Engr. Wakilbe while disclosing that the commissioner advises the students to be good ambassadors of the state and to concentrate on their studies to come out with flying colours.
Malam Bala on behalf of the board’s staff, thanked Prof Babagana Umara Zulum for his support to students to achieve their careers.
