*representatives visit Emir palace, laud his commitment

The Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum  represented by the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Reconstruction Rehabilitation and Resettlement (MRRR), Engineer Mustapha Gubio  has commissioned the parameter fencing of Divisional Police Station and Police Barracks in Askira LGA.

Engr Gubio who was accompanied by Hon Sugun Mai Meleh, Honourable Commissioner for the Ministry of Local Government and Emirates Affairs, Hon Saina Buba, Commissioner for Youth and Sports, alongside  the Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Bello Ahmed who represented the IGP of Police and Executive Secretary Victims Support Fund (VSF), Prof Nana Tanko who represented the Chairman VSF, Gen T.Y. Danjuma, 

were received by the military formation and Police Force in Askira for the commissioning of the project.

The representative of the Governor, Engr Mustapha Gubio while addressing the gathering, said  that this is in line with government’s 10-year strategy plan  and recovery process.

 The commissioner also said that following the request of the Emir of Askira, Alhaji Abdullahi Askirama, the Borno State Government in collaboration with the Victims Support Fund (VSF) constructed and completed the project.

The representative of the chairman VSF, Prof Nana Tanko while making her speech, also appreciated the support and commitment of the Borno State Governor in making sure the project was constructed and completed within the possible time frame.

The representative of the Police Commissioner, DCP Bello Ahmed  appreciated  the Borno State Government and VSF for the support.

The government officials and other representatives, moved to the Emir of Askira’s Palace to pay a courtesy visit, to appreciate his support and commitment to his people and the government. 

Engr Gubio lauded the Emir for always seeking government’s support for his people and his domain.
