Zamani Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), has donated kits to the Medical Center, Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Center, Jaji, as a way of enhancing its performance in providing medical treatment to humanity.
Zamani Foundation is a registered non-profit organization with the mandate to advocate for peace and development for the less privileged in the society.
Presenting the items, the President, Zamani Foundation, Amb Talatu Zamani, said that the purpose of visiting the centre is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 17 that has to do with partnership, saying that Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Center happens to be one of its dependable and reliable partners.
She explained, “We are this day in the month of August, donating to the medical center a kit containing five thousand seven hundred and sixty contraceptives kit.
“As an organisation advocating for peace, good neighbourliness and development for less privileged. We want to support the peace keepers with this kits to join the centre in their peace keeping operations. We will continually render our support whenever we can in support of the mission mandate.”
Responding, the commandant, Major General A.J. Fagge, thanked Zamani Foundation team for its continuous and credible partnership, saying that he looks forward to more collaborations in the future in the service to humanity.
He urged the medical center to make the most out of the gift.
He stated, “Our reliable partner, Zamani Foundation is here today to make a donation to the medical center and we wish to appreciate Mrs. Talatu Zamani and her great team for seeing us fit to be part of this donation.
“We hope that whatever she has donated will be of good use not only to us, but to humanity in general.”
He thanked Zamani Foundation on behalf of the Nigerian Army, Jaji for the gift for all that it has been doing and prayed that their partnership would continue to blossom, blossom to greater height as they all match forward in search of peace for the societies and humanity as well.
