Speaker of the 9th Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani FCNA, yesterday, has expressed appreciation to Governor Uba Sani for the groundbreaking ceremony of two significant roads.
The event, which took place on the January 29, 2024, marked the commencement of construction for the 35km Road from Gadan Gayan through Gwaraji to Kujama Junction, linking Igabi and Chikun local government areas, as well as the 6km College Road in Sabon Tasha from Signboard through Juji, linking Eastern Bypass.
In a statement signed by his SA Media and Publicity, Ambassador Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, the 9th Kaduna State Assembly Speaker, highlighted the importance of these road projects in both rural and urban areas.
“Igabi and Chikun local government areas possess immense agricultural potentials, and the construction of these roads will undoubtedly enhance transportation and connectivity, thus boosting economic activities in the region,” he said.
Rt Hon Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani expressed gratitude to Governor Uba Sanı for his commitment to the development of the state.
He also extended prayers for the safe return of the governor and his entourage.
Furthermore, he reassured the governor of his unwavering support and promised to do everything within his power to ensure the success of the current administration.
“The groundbreaking ceremony signifies a significant step towards improving infrastructure and promoting growth in the region. With the construction of these roads, the communities in Igabi and Chikun local government areas can look forward to enhanced accessibility and increased opportunities for economic development.
“As construction progresses, it is anticipated that these road projects will not only benefit the local residents but also attract investments and spur further development in the area,’ he added.
The former speaker’s appreciation for Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to the welfare and progress of the state echoes the sentiments of many who believe in the transformative power of infrastructure development.
