A political support and Socio-economic Advocacy Group, Fusion Nigeria has described the turbanning of former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai (rtd) as a call to render more service to Nigeria.
Fusion expressed this in a congratulatory letter, sent to Ambassador Buratai, signed by i’s National Coordinator, Comrade Sadiq Jikta, sighted by our correspondent on Saturday August 6, 2022.
“We at Fusion Nigeria, understand that, this turbanning didn’t just come, but as a renewed call to serve the people of Nigeria.
“The inventiveness and genius you brought to bear during your service in the military will now be focused on building that sailboat called a New Nigeria of our dream,” the letter said.
Fusion on the letter dated August 2, said, “What perfect month of July you must have had. Saturday, 23 July, 2022, your turbanning as the GARKUWAN KEFFI and Saturday, 30 July, 2022, was another remarkable day for you and your family, as you gave your daughter, Fatima’s hand out in marriage.
“We at Fusion Nigeria, say a double CONGRATULATION!
‘Your role as a father, and all your service over the years to Nigeria and her people, are now manifesting within your grasp, as you set out on this interestingly, new and exciting chapter of your life,” the group said.
They assured him that, “we at Fusion Nigeria stand with you on this journey.
“Lastly, we once again say, Your Excellency! CONGRATULATIONS!”
