Lead Counsel for the Yoruba nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, Ighoho, Chief Yomi Alliyu (SAN) on Monday, said his client, Sunday Igboho is now a free man in Germany.
Chief Alliyu (SAN) made this known during a chat with our correspondent in Ibadan over purported report that Chief Adeyemo Igboho is set to return to Nigeria after regaining his freedom in Cotonou, Republic of Benin.
The legal luminary stressed that Sunday Igboho, has been released from protective custody in Benin Republic and now in Germany.
“Yes, he has been released. He was released yesterday. He is now in Germany. He is in Germany and he is now a free person, that is all I know”, he said.
Chief Alliyu (SAN) added, ” The former AGF hates the guts of Yoruba and that is why he kept Igboho in Cotonou. But because the current AGF is a Yoruba man and he knows the law, he has to do the right thing by releasing him”.
