An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Mr. Okonkwo Nnamani has said that for political fairness and equity, the North West deserves to produce the 10th Senate President from Zamfara State.
He stated this in an interview with journalists in Zaria on the leadership of the 10th Senate, which is gathering momentum presently.
He said, the North West deserves it particularly, Senator AabddulAziz Yari of Zamfara State, in order to have balance in the leadership of the Red Chamber.
Mr. Okonkwo noted that it is only fair and just, which will be a measure that will determine the future of Nigeria’s democracy.
The APC chieftain further stressed that Senator AbdulAziz Yari is qualified to be the 10th Senate President, considering his vast of experience in the political circle.
“If given a chance to lead the 10th Senate Yari will definitely transformed the upper chamber,” he added.
According to him, Nigeria will be in the history book of politics when Senator AbdulAziz Yari becomes the 10th Senate President.
