The Gombe State Ministry of Education has charged AGILE Project to create a synergy for the successful implementation of the project in the state.
The Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Alhaji Abubakar Adamu, made the charge, during a review meeting of the State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU).
Alhaji Adamu who was Represented by the Director’s of Examinations of the ministry, Alhaji Ali Yaya and the Director Administration, Nuhu Usman Reme, commended the SPIU and urged them to work assiduously as a team for the benefit of the people of the state.
He said the ministry is always ready to provide the needed guidance on the project to ensure it’s success in the state.
Earlier, in her remarks the state Project Coordinator, Dr Amina Haruna Abdul said the essence of the meeting is to review activities so far conducted by various components with a view to strategize and ginger the component leads to do more.
Dr Amina Abdul, also commented the supervisory role played by the host education ministry which provided a level playing ground for the project.
She said part of the major achievement recorded was acquiring a functional office accommodation for the project and the constant review of the project’s work plan by the SPIU.
She appealed for continued harmonious working relationship with the members towards the smooth implementation of the project in the state.
All the components leads presented summary of activities conducted from inception of the project to date.
