Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe has assured that when voted into power, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Uba Sani will give women special consideration when forming his government.
Kaduna State Deputy Governor stated this while addressing women in Barnawa in an engagement organised by Arewa Women for Tinubu and Shetima.
She said the incoming APC government under Senator Uba Sani will identify competent and capable women and include them in governing the state because women are known to be compassionate and trusted stewards that will bring development to the state.
Dr Hadiza said Senator Uba Sani has already demonstrated his readiness to include women in running the affairs of the state, adding that the manifesto of the APC that was unveiled on Sunday January 15 clearly spelt how they plan to carry women and every segment of the state along in moving Kaduna forward, building on the gains of the el-Rufai administration.
The Deputy Governor appealed to women to mobilise their neighbours, friends and family members to vote for the APC in the Presidential, National Assembly, Governorship and State Assembly positions.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the APC Kaduna Campaign Council and other party officials and loyalists.
Highlight of the event was a reception for former members of the PDP who moved into the fold of the ruling APC in Kaduna South Local Government.
