The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has reaffirmed his strong commitment to leading Plateau with the fear of God, steering the state towards growth and development.

Governor Mutfwang made this declaration on Wednesday during a solidarity visit by the leadership of Gindiri Old Students Association (GOSA), led by the National President, Engr. Sunday Hyatt, at the New Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to attend the school, he acknowledged the solid foundation it provided for his spiritual growth. Governor Mutfwang sought fervent prayers to facilitate his administration’s efforts in transforming the state for the benefit of all, emphasizing his openness to constructive advice.

“I pray daily for the strength to lead this state with the mind of Christ. It’s challenging as we are only human. I urge you to continue lifting us in prayer,” he stated.

Governor Mutfwang noted with delight that Plateau State’s foundation was established by a GOSA member, and stressed the need for a new foundation due to the daunting challenges the state faces.

He emphasized the importance of coming together in addressing the unpleasant situations inherited by his administration for the benefit of all.

Engr. Sunday Hyatt, the National President of GOSA, commended the Governor for his unwavering faith in the association. He said GOSA celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, during which it inaugurated projects that benefit their Alma Mater.

Hyatt announced plans for a convention on November 4 to honour members holding political appointments at both national and state levels.

Additionally, he said, a Thanksgiving Service has been scheduled for November 5, 2023, to thank God for His protection over all members.
