An elder statesman, Alhaji Bukar Makoda would continue to be remembered for his great contributions to the development of Nigeria’s economy and national unity.
This was contained in a condolence message issued to newsmen in Kano on Wednesday by the founder of Tamallan Foundation, Dr. Saleh Musa Wailare, where he described alhaji Bukar Makoda as one of the pillars of development not only in Kano but in the country at large.
“We lost a father who always gives us counselling whenever we meet him, and we have learnt so much lessons from him especially on national unity, democracy and being brothers keepers. On behalf of the directors, staff and workers of Tamallan Foundation, I condole the Honourable Commissioner for Water Resources, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda and the entire people of Makoda Local Government Area over this great loss,” he said.
Dr. Saleh Musa Wailare, who is a prominent politician and has contributed towards the development of democracy said he would continue to be at the forefront in terms of national growth through the provision of employment opportunities across Dambatta and Makoda Federal Constituency.
