Good and inclusive governance requires that all hands are deck for the yearnings and aspiration by the governed and for the needed development to take place in every civilized society, citizens are duty bound to be part of the development by way of obligation and to respect the constituted authority of the land, irrespective of what views, religious and party affiliations and support the government of the day, by providing constructive criticism and proffer solutions for the good of all and sundry.
This is the story of our dear Niger State. It is not taboo for a state like ours to have the needed development and infrastructure as seen in other states of the federation, considering immense natural resources in the state.
Interestingly, Nigerlites are apparently in a hurry to see giants strides or score cards of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, the Executive Governor of Niger State, just few months into his administration. It is quite realizable based on his blueprint for the possibility of the new Niger State, with the vigour and rejuvenation displayed by signing of contractual works billed to take place in the state, ‘’as any good weekend is seen and felt from Thursday,” a Hausa adage’ says.
As things are presently, Nigerlites can be rest assured that Niger State is indeed in good hands, led by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, the Executive Governor of the state.
His Excellency shouldn’t be alone in his quest for a better Niger State, the royal fathers, traditional and religious leaders are not left out. Even the two confirmed ministerial nominees of Distinguished Senator Abdullahi Sahabi and the business mogul, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi are men of intrinsic worth, who should be available at all times, providing needed ideas and support for the state modernization, which is anticipated after a long period of time.
My heart bleeds each time I visit any state younger than Niger as a political aficionado and development enthusiast.
Hence, we can provide the needed support in anyway humanly possible. I will support this administration as an expert in natural resources and tourism, amongst other things.
It is pertinent and incumbent upon me that, I am pleased to encourage the fellow youths in Chanchaga, my immediate constituency, all the senatorial districts of Niger State of our alloyed support for the administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, the Executive Governor, driven by the shared aspirations we hold for our beloved state’s progress and development.
Bago has shown purposeful leadership since his emergence as governor our dear Niger State. Our state is undergoing a remarkable transformation, thanks to the ongoing developmental projects initiated by the present government, which need support at this very point in time in the annals of the state.
As a passionate and lover of good governance, I strongly believe that our collective support and involvement in these projects can accelerate the positive change we wish to see in our dear state.
The progress that we desire is not merely a responsibility of the government alone, but a collective effort that requires active participation from us all, most especially the youths, the torchbearers of tomorrow.
The present government’s commitment to infrastructure in education, healthcare, and job creation is evident in the numerous projects underway. These projects have the potentials to not only enhance our quality of life, but also open new avenues of opportunity for us and the generations to come.
By rallying behind these initiatives, we can make a significant impact on our state’s growth trajectory. Our support can take various forms, from spreading awareness about these projects within our circles, to participating in community-driven activities that complement the ongoing efforts. Whether it’s volunteering for community clean-ups, organizing workshops, or even just being ambassadors for change, as every contribution counts.
Moreover, our unity in this endeavour can send a strong message to our leaders that we are actively investing in the future of our state. Through our actions, we can foster a sense of ownership and pride in our community, leading to sustained progress and development.
