Rising Star FC Jigawa has been a regular participant in the NLO Division Two for 16 years, while TY Buratai Academy participated for the second time.
TY Buratai Academy delivered a shocking 2-1 defeat to Rising Star FC, fans and supporters were in jubilation mood after the victory over the Jigawa based football club in their opening of match for NLO Division Two match yesterday.

Danbukur hammered in a half-volley from the edge of the box into the top corner in the 16th minute of the game after several chances missed by club top top scorer Ukasha in the opening game.
It looked for a long time like TY Buratai Academy would be leaving the Tafawa Balewa Stadium with just one or even draw points on yesterday afternoon.
Tension reached its peak after a penalty was missed by Rising Star attacker at 67th minutes of the game before later they equalized in the 79th minute, but the Sarkin Yaki Boys were in the end, satisfied by a late win.
“It was a match typical of with tension and intensity right to the end,” the coach told reporters.
“We are happy because during phases of the game we were very good with a great goal that gave us control, but in the start of the second-half we had a crazy start and conceded a goal and a penalty to the opponent .
“We celebrated Henry’s goal the way you’d expect a late goal to be celebrated.” He added.
Ty Buratai Football Academy will play six more matches within the next six days.
