The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) has described the election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President elect, marking the beginning of new deal in the history of Nigeria.
In a statement issued by the National President of the association, Arc. Kabiru Ibrahim and made it available to New Nigerian in Zaria, said as he represents ‘renewed hope’ for the prosperity of a richly endowed nation yearning for an astute administrator who has shown great aptitude in harnessing the capacity of capable lieutenants to turn around the fortunes of Lagos State.
According to the AFAN President, the President elect demonstrated his competence in Lagos State by appointing people on merit to assist him and they are confident that he will replicate similar feat in giving meritorious service to Nigeria.
Arc. Kabiru Ali said, All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) looks forward to working with him to bring about food security in Nigeria.
He disclosed that AFAN pledged its support to his candidature at the town hall meeting with farmers in Minna upon reflecting on his manifesto on agriculture.
“The entire AFAN members join other Nigerians in congratulating the President elect and wishing him Allah’s guidance, good health and every success in renewing Nigeria’s hope and nation building,” he said.
