A Frontline aspirant for the Southern Kaduna Senatorial Seat, Rt Honourable Jagaba Adams Jagaba has while condemning the attack, submitted that the perpetrators of  Kagoro Agban Community of Kaura Local Government Area carnage are not ghosts, hence they should be fished out and punished appropriately.
He expressed this in a statement he personally signed and made available to our correspondent on Tuesday March 22, 2022.
“I have received with great shock and sadness, the unprovoked killings going on in the Southern part of Kaduna State by terrorists.
“Just as i have said before, this attack is coming at a time right thinking people should focus on healing the wounds and restoring hope to our people that have been facing consistent attacks and existential threat.

“The Sunday’s attack on Kagoro Agban Community of Kaura Local Government Area by these terrorists is an affront to our collective peace and progress. This carnage must Stop

“The Kagoro Agban Community attack which led to the killing of about 23 persons and two soldiers came only few days after men and officers of Operation Safe Haven met with members of the communities.
“It is obvious the perpetrators don’t value lives. They must be treated as terrorists. They must be wiped out because they keep invading our communities on a daily basis.
“They were in their large numbers and invaded the community in two military Vans killed 23 people and destroyed over 200 houses.

“This is pathetic because within a short period of two hours, Kagoro Agban became a ghost town with many corpses on the streets.

“The killing of innocent passer-by by a mobile Police Officer which caused serious tension in Kafanchan town is uncalled for and must be investigated by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali.

“These killings have been happening in many communities of Southern Kaduna without the government arresting the perpetrators neither the situation.

“I use this medium to express my heartfelt condolences to the families of the people that lost their lives. May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace.

“While we appreciate the efforts of the government in tackling the security challenges, it is grossly inadequate. We can’t keep doing the same thing and expect different result.
“I am calling on both the State and the Federal Government to be more proactive in their approach to security matters.
“These attacks on the Southern Kaduna land is an attack too many. Life is sacred and we must respect the sanctity of life. No one has the right to take life.
“The government and the security agencies must ensure that the people and their properties are protected. The primary responsibility of government is to protect lives and properties. The government must ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book to face justice.
“The killers are not ghost. They invaded the community to kill, steal and destroyed. These terrorists must be traced, arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.

“To my Southern Kaduna people, let’s keep hope alive. We should not give in to fear. I believed that one day, light will shine over darkness. We should be vigilant and be suspicious of everything we see around our environment because the terrorists masquerading under different guise are out to steal, kill, destroyed and cause enmities.

“Let me called on the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to quickly send relief materials to the displaced persons. Survivors in different hospitals should be taken care of adequately.”
