Team Sokoto started their campaign of the National Under 12/15 Handball Championship as they ensured they won all of their matches in all categories of day 1 of the championship in the city of Sokoto.
In the Under 12 Girls category, Sokoto defeated FCT 11-8.
Sokoto continued their domination in the Under 12 Boys Category as they defeated C&SFPS 19-12 while FCT defeated KEBBI 24-18.
In the Under 15 Girls Category C&SFPS Academy comfortably defeated Kebbi 17-8.
In the Boys Under 15 Category, Sokoto empathically defeated FCT 30-18 while Zamfara defeated Katsina 15-12.
Still in the Boys Under 15 category, Caliphate Academy of Sokoto did not sweat as they defeated Kebbi 27-19.
