Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Honourable Nasiru Yahaya Daura has called on people of the State to support Governor Dikko Umaru Radda administration to fulfill its campaign promises.
Speaker Yahaya Daura was speaking while receiving an award presented to him by the State Chapter of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Consolidated Technicians Support Group.
The Speaker who received the award in the presence of his Deputy Abduljalal Haruna Runka said the current Assembly is doing its best to enact people oriented laws and resolutions for peace stability and socio-economic growth of the state.
Honourable Yahaya Daura described the award as a gesture which would boost his morale and entire members of the Katsina state House of Assembly toward promoting good governance.
The State Chairman of the Support Group Malam Usman Aliyu Musawa said the award was in recognition of the Speaker’s re-election as member representing Daura, his emergence as Speaker and as well as the Deputy National Chairman of the conference of the Speakers Forum in the Country.
The association’s women leader, Hajiya Zaliha Aliyu Chake prayed God’s guidance to the Speaker.
