Soludo Decries Faulty State Of INEC Machine, Says BVAS Tech A Failure

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof Charles Soludo has decried the faulty state of INEC machines for Saturday’s governorship election in Anambra State.
Soludo who came to his Isuofia polling unit to exercise his franchise after midday met a faulty machine at his booth. 
Speaking to journalists while waiting for the malfunctioning machine to be put in order, the APGA flag bearer wondered when voting will start and stop in his ward.
He said, it is a bad situation. This INEC BVAS is a failure. We have been same complain all over the state. It raises fundamental questions about the technology being used for this election.
“I’m quite a bit surprised. Places where you have about 800 voters, you have only 5 or 6 people that have voted. We are still being optimistic it will work.
Soludo reeled out issue of inadequate INEC staff, security and malfunctioning machines as fundamental issues that need to be looked into to guarantee a legitimate process. 
He added, “There are no Securities here. As at now, 12:32pm, materials have mot left the local government in Ihiala area. I’m very confident about the process, the INEC chairman assured us. People have been waiting here in my ward since 7am and they are yet to vote. 
“INEC please fix the technology. It us not working.”
The Professor of Economics urged hus supporters to be patient, saying that whenever the machine starts eorking, they will exercise their franchise
