Six Die From Osun Auto Crash

 *FRSC says 11 escape unhurt

Six people on Saturday, met their untimely death in an auto crash  which occured in Imesi Ile area of Osun State.

According to a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC), Osun Command, Agnes Ogungbemi, the auto crash involved a Red coloured DAF Trailer and a blue-coloured Mark trailer.

She stressed that 17 people were involved in the auto crash with 11 of them not sustaining any injuries from the crash.

The Osun FRSC Command PRO attributed the  crash to a brake failure and loss of control by the driver of one of the trailers involved. 

The PRO stressed that the five dead remains were taken to UniOsun Teaching Hospital Osogbo by officers of the Nigeria Police Force in Imesi Ile before the arrival of the FRSC team.

Disclosing that a male victim who was trapped under the truck was removed with an extricating machine, the FRSC PRO stated that the victim’s property were taken by the police to their station.
