Former Interim Chairman of Kaduna North, Hon. Usman Ibrahim popularly called Sardaunan Badarawa has again, shared cash and rice  worth 45 million Naira to delegates and members of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone.

Hon. Ibrahim who is also a Senatorial aspirant of  Kaduna Central Zone, also dished out three brand new cars during his declaration at Hotel 17,  Tafawa Balewa Way, Kaduna.

The Zone comprises seven local government areas, which are; Kaduna North, Kaduna South, Chikun , Kajuru, Giwa, Birnin-Gwari and Igabi.

While assuring party loyalists of putting their interests first, the Senatorial hopeful stated that if voted by delegates at primaries, winning general election would be a landslide for PDP because according to him popularity and credibility which he revealed he possessed in volumes should be a factor that must be considered from candidates vying for elective positions so they could be sellable at the poll.

He hinted that the opposition party in the state was already on her way of edging out the APC from Kaduna Government House and  all contestable positions.

The politician insisted PDP would remain his home, recalling how he lost his  house with ten cars in them following the post 2011 election crisis in Kaduna and other states in the North.

Sardaunan Badarawa who also holds the traditional title of Santurakiin Hausa noted that politics was all about service to the people at the grassroots whose interests he stated should be the primary concern and occupation of any elected official.

The philanthropist said adding value to the  lives of people had been his focus in public and private ventures.

He said he had been supportive of PDP since  rejoining the party he described as inseparable umbilical cord, saying he wanted a strong opposition capable of taking back power from APC.

Hon. Ibrahim pledged not to disappoint the Kaduna Central  if given the mandate to represent the Senatorial Zone in 2023 general election.

A delegate who simply identified himself as Musa Lawal  commended the politician for his generosity and commitment to the party,  vowing to mobilize other delegates for the victory of Sardaunan Badarawa at both primary and general election.
