The Former Federal legislator criticised el-Rufai for worsening state of insecurity in the state by sacking district heads and other traditional rulers whom he said were the closest to the people and could assist in tackling security problems by virtue of their position to know strangers and perpetrators of crime and criminalities.

The former Kaduna Polytechnic lecturer promised to reverse the sacking of traditional heads and take necessary measures he stated would address the state of insecurity.

He declared sustainable security as necessary and basic requirement on which other developmental entities could be built on.

” I will hit the ground running as soon as I emerge victorious by the grace of God by ensuring We have in place security which is central to all aspect of development.

” Kaduna is a state of over nine million people – the third most populated state after Lagos and Kano and therefore Central to National development that 60 percent of our problems would have been solved if security is put in place.

” Insecurity can breed any form of evil that could permeate into every segment of our lives and deny us the opportunity to grow and develop as other nations are doing.

” Our farmers can no longer access their farmlands due to high level of insecurity.

” We must do all we can to bring back the nostalgic years of our good state when industries and mega businesses thrived in growth and development of the nation’s economy.

” I will give attention to welfare and well-being of women and children by providing free basic and subsidizing tertiary education so our teeming youth and women can be empowered in education and other skills so they will be self-reliant.

” We will reverse school fees of tertiary institutions that have been hiked by over 300 percent by the present administration which has denied our people to accessed higher level education.

” I will subsidize primary health-care and ensure it is affordable and accessible to all, particularly women and children because a productive population must be healthy and fit to drive economic machinery of the state.

” I will operate a workers’ friendly administration that will pay serious attention to welfare of its workforce.

” I won’t be a governor of sacking workers and sending traders  out of business and making their lives miserable,” he assured.
