*Makinde assures him of all SW governors support

Governors from four of the South West states on Tuesday, visited the ailing Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) at his private residence in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital
New Nigerian gathered that the governors during the visit, discussed issues of national interest as well as others affecting the region and the people.
It was learnt that the visiting governors, Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), and Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti) were first received by Governor Seyi Makinde before heading for Arakunrin Akeredolu’s private residence to for the visit.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Akeredolu, Richard Olatunde, said the Chairman of the Southwest Governors’ Forum and Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) met with governors from the region to discuss issues of interest.
Olatunde stressed that Gov Akeredolu, appreciated the governors for their solidarity, harped on continuous collaboration among the Southwest states.
In his remarks during the visit, Governor Seyi Makinde prayed for Governor Akeredolu assuring Gov Akeredolu of the support of all the Governors in the region.
