Revenue: Murtala Mohammed Airport Customs Hits Over 25% Increase In 2022

Recording an increase, N69.8 billion was collected as revenue in 2022 by the Murtala Mohammed Airport Command of the Nigeria Customs Service compared to the N55.67bn that it generated in 2021.

Customs Area Controller, Sambo Dangaladima,  while presenting the command’s revenue profile for 2022, made the disclosure.

He explained that the area command never had it so good in the year 2022, saying that there was an overwhelming increase of N14.1billion representing 25.34% in its revenue generation. 

“The 2022 yearly target was N66.9 billion but the command surpassed the target with N2.83bn representing a 4.24% increase,” he explained.
