Reps Member Empowers Constituents With Items Worth N100m

In his quest to fight poverty through empowerment, Hon. Samaila Suleiman has expended over 100 million naira on various empowerment items meant to create sustainable vocations for youth and women of Kaduna North Federal Constituency.

Items bought and distributed by Hon. Suleiman ranged from; tricycles, sewing machines, poultry and irrigation farming implements amongst others, assuring people of his Constituency that he would maintain the tempo of delivering dividends of democracy to their doorsteps until needed goals of checkmating poverty, creating middle class and politically active citizens were achieved.

Still among other things dished out by this humble leader is 25 keke napep to 25 individuals, Seven hundred and fifty thousand naira to 50 individuals and also another set of 20 individuals got half a million each.

The second term member won his first and second term elections with a landslide insisted that the shortest route to fighting insecurity and other vices in the society was to provide sustainable means of livelihoods for the masses, particularly the youth whom he stated formed the largest chunk of Nigeria’s population and APC’s victory.

Samaila who broke a rare record as the only opposition candidate to have won Local govt election in 2012 under the then CPC while the state was under the grip of people’s Democratic Party (PDP), disclosed that governance and political representation should not be an avenue of enriching oneself at the detriment of people or causing hardship on the citizenry whom he said should be the primary concern and beneficiaries of material resources accrued to government.

” I have been actively involved at the lower chamber on efforts to create sustainable jobs, life-changing opportunities and other avenues of assisting downtrodden.

” Philosophy of engagement with my constituents is anchored on selfless service enshrined on welfarism built on ethos of good governance and communal development for prosperity of our people.

” I have taken seriously welfare and wellbeing of people within my jurisdiction because leadership is a burden that must be accounted for here and in the hereafter.

” We must do our best in our capacity on whose shoulders rest enormous responsibilities of, ” he said.

Tijjani Tanimu, who is amongst the beneficiaries of a tricycle poured encomiums on Hon. Suleiman, pledging to make judicious use of three legged machine for the betterment of his family and the society at large.

Another beneficiary among those that got the 750, 000 naira largesse commended the benefactor for what he described as a life-changing initiative of Hon. Suleiman, urging other elected officials to follow suit, which according to him would go a long way in impacting the society positively.

It could also be recalled that the awaiting Seven (7) days free surgery and medical outreach sponsored by same Rep member will kick start today Friday 26th, November 2021.
