The Captain of the Kaduna Golf Club 1921, Engineer Aminu Bagudu Captain has described the robust relationship existing between the club and the state of as one worthy of emulation by other states.
Engineer Bagudu expressed this during the tee-of of the 2022 Ladies Tournament of the club, held on Saturday January 29.
“Kaduna Golf Club has continued to identify with the state government.
“Our relationship is one that amplifies that Kaduna is an example of states that associates with sporting organisations,” he said.
The captain said that in spite of the cordial relationship, the club will continue to seek support of the state government for all their activities.
“We identify with your urban renewal not only in Kaduna, but all over the state.
“We are happy for the road you are doing here in front of our club. It would not only beautify the club, but will further attract more tourists,” he declared.
Speaking further, Engineer Bagudu appealed to the state government to consider their request for Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) for for the club, which he explained for years we have been paying rents.
In her remarks, Chief host and Lady Captain of Kaduna Golf Club, Vera David thanked the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe for not only gracing, but doing the official tee-off of the Ladies Tournament.
