Provide  Security To Prevent  Loss Of Lives, Property During  Prophet Bojesomo’s  Burial,  Group Tells Tinubu, IGP, Others

A human rights group, Save the Poor and Needy Charity Initiative (SPANCI) today, tasked President Bola Tinubu and the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun to provide maximum security during the burial of late Prophet Joseph Odeyemi Eyinafe Bojesomo. 

The group in a petition addressed to President Tinubu, IGP and other stakeholders, said that this is necessary in order to avoid loss of lives and property during the burial of the founder of Ori Oke Agbara Emimimo, Efon Alaaye in Ekiti State,  holding between December  14 to 16  this year at church. 

According to the group,  there is a need for the security agencies to provide maximum security during the burial of the late prophet,  to prevent breakdown of law and order. 

SPANCI in the petition, appealed to President Tinubu, IGP, AIG Zone 11, Commissioner of Police in Osun State and other heads of security agencies to provide maximum security, ” for family of the deceased during the burial  to prevent breakdown of law and order”. 

The petition signed by SPANCI President, Comrade Yemi Ezekiel Bello, alleged that some people have been planning to cause breakdown of law and order during the burial, adding that there is a need to inform the stakeholders and the general public that some individuals have been planning to cause breach of peace during the burial. 

” We in Save the Poor and Needy Charity Initiative (SPANCI) a human rights and Charity organization Nigeria wish to inform the Nigeria Government, the National Assembly, the DSS, the Nigeria Police Force, NSCDC, Osun and Ekiti State governments, Ministry of Justice and general public that the Nigeria Police Force and Elerinmo of Erinmo land Oba Micheal Odunayo Ajayi Arowotawaya should be held responsible for and likely breach of public peace, break down of law and order, killing or loss of human life which may happen before on or during and after the burial of late prophet Joseph Odeyemi Eyinafe Bojesomo of Orioke Agbara Emimimo Efon Alaaye via erinmo popularly called orioke erinmo which comes up on 14th to 16th of December 2023 just few days now”, it said.

The group added, ” We hereby request maximum security of lives and properties from the Nigeria Police Force IGP and other stake holders to avoid the breach of public peace, break down of law and order, killing or loss of human life and protection of the lives and properties of our clients and their visitors before, on or during and after the burial of late prophet Joseph Odeyemi Eyinafe Bojesomo on the said mountain coming up this week Thursday 14th to Saturday 16th December 2023″.
