Engineering firm, PPC Limited Infrastructure and Development Company, has introduced its latest advancements in power distribution through 11KV and 33KV Underground Power Cable Network Management and Installations to boost power distribution in the country.

The Head of the Power Division at PPC Limited, Dr. Kelechi Onuigbo, in a statement, said that the deployment of the latest innovation would help close the electricity distribution gap in the country.

“The 11KV and 33KV underground power cable network management and installations are designed to address critical challenges facing power distribution. By leveraging advanced technologies, we aim to enhance the reliability of electricity supply and contribute to the overall resilience of power infrastructure,” Onuigbo said.

He explained that the underground power cable network would minimise exposure to environmental elements, reducing the risk of outages caused by weather conditions.

According to Onuigbo, “the advanced management system optimises power flow, reducing losses during distribution and promoting energy efficiency.”

He also stressed that the underground installations would contribute to a cleaner and aesthetically pleasing environment.

Onuigbo added, “In a country where electricity access is crucial for economic growth and development, the introduction of 11KV and 33KV underground power cable network management and installations is a significant step towards providing a reliable and efficient power supply. It aligns with Nigeria’s commitment to modernising its power infrastructure and meeting the increasing energy demands of its people.”
