As the woman folk the world over commemorate the women’s day, an aspirant for the Jos North North under All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Muhammad Safiu wants them to wake up to face their male counterparts politically in 2023.
Speaking on the international event, the politician noted that there is an urgent need for the women in the country to increase their participation in politics so that they can compete with their male counterparts at the various constituencies..
” Those women who are currently occupying offices should redirect the thinking of the generality of women,”. he said.
He used the occasion to congratulate women worldwide and the woman in his constituency in Jos North-North.
Alhaji Muhammad Safiu reminded the women in the constituency to ensure that they are all equipped with their voters card.

The plateau State House of Assembly hopeful explained that it is time for them to go ahead and fight gender bias in the society, adding that recent happenings on the floor of the Senate should make them more stronger and united.
