Oyo Govt Will Engage 200 Youth In Tech Skills – Commissioner

Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede

on Tuesday hinted that the state government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in collaboration with Coven Works, empower and train 200 youth in high demand cyber technology Skills. 

Asiwaju Fakorede dropped this hint while speaking at a media briefing held in his office  in Ibadan.

The Commissioner said Coven Works is a leading tech education provider with students across the globe who major in data science and artificial intelligence in Africa.

He tasked youth in Oyo State to enroll in the training before Sunday, 31st July 2022 which is the deadline for the application.

Leader of Coven Works, Mr Olusola Amusan, while speaking said the program would benefit youths who desire to start a career in the thriving Tech Industry while courses to be focused upon are Power BI, Posgre SQL and Cybersecurity .

Mr Amusan stated that the training is for a period of four weeks and interested individuals should visit https://bitly/cw-OYSG for registration.
