Mrs. Onuoha who confirmed the incident, said that the property destroyed are worth over 40 million Naira.

`As you can see it, the fire out break happened in Magistrate Court 1 which also houses court 3, in the early hours of Friday morning, between 12–1:00am. We got calls that we should all rush to court that there is serious firebreak; and some of us rushed to court.

`As you can see, we lost almost everything here, even the building was razed down. We heard that the fire started from transformer here.

“The fire almost entered the registry department, but to the glory of God, the fire service responded to the call and that was why we were able to control it to this level to avoid entering into other offices.

`I will say to the glory of God, that our files are intact.

`In terms of damages,we lost property worth 40- to 50 million Naira because the whole building has been damaged. The fire outbreak actually started from a transformer close by,” she explained.
