Over 2,000 APC Supporters Dump Party For PDP In Jigawa

Lack of cohesion and poor leadership exhibited by leaders of the ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC) has forced its Gagarawa, and Kazaure council’s supporters numbering over 2,000 to dump the party for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Receiving the decampees at a PDP mammoth rally at Gagarawa, the Chairman, Hon. Babandi Ibrahim Gumel  described APC as a party of deceit with failed mission,  on whose loosed focus which  has plunged the country into serious confusion.
Least amongst the failed focus of the present administration was devastation issues of insecurity, kidnappings, corruption, poverty, and unemployment to mention but a few, a situation which  the leaders failed to fix the country due to lack of capacity to govern and  inexperienced  administrative exposure in the art of governance.
On the decampees, Gumel called on them to be dedicated and hard working in promoting the good ideals of the PDP in its quest in snatching the mantle of leadership of the country back to its rightful place.
“We  the PDP as a party have a formidable structure and mechanism on how best to move the country forward based on our good principles and ideology which we are confident are far above the thinking of the leaders of the ruling party’s leadership.” Gumel said.
During the gathering, more than 1,870 APC card carrying members from different wards and the council’s leadership alongside  their followers  dumped the ruling party, stressing that their decision was based on the party’s  failed mission and poor governance.
According to the spokesman, Mal Ibrahim Sambo, “we resolved.l dumping the APC because of lack of cohesion, party organization, deceit and poor leadership.
In Kazaure also,  more than 780 APC faithful  have announced their disengagement from their original party to PDP, saying their mission of embracing the PDP was informed by its structure, focus, and organization.
Speaking while receiving the decampees, a PDP Chieftain and former federal lawmaker, Hon. Bashir Adamu Kazaure called on politicians to have fear of God in the cause of their politicking.
“Let us play politics with open mind full of hard work, fear of God, honesty and with a clear conscience of embracing common unity, with patriotic zeal to move our country forward.
