*Says they are targeting reaching out to Ghana, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Ethiopia

The Head of a Non Governmental Organization (NGO), FUNMILAYO HEALTH FOUNDATION” Dr. Adeniran Michael Timothy has declared that the foundation will collaborate with African governments on how best to eradicate poverty in the continent.
According to Dr Timothy, in doing this, the foundation is targeting reaching out to some African states like Ghana, Zimbabwe, Egypt and Ethiopia and collaborate with the governments therein on how best to eradicate poverty among their citizens, youths’ development schemes and provision of social infrastructures respectively.
Dr Timothy maintained that the foundation which is an household name among the Lagosians and some neighbouring African states has been impactful in the provision of welfare needs for the benefits of the citizens across some notable communities in Lagos.
Emphasizing that the beneficiaries cuts across the youths and adults,males and females and that ” it is heart warming to note that the exercise has been devoid of ethnic or tribal colourations”.
Stressing that the NGO’S charitable deeds were extended to the orphans and the physically challenged respectively”, Dr Timothy listed other areas of the foundation operation as scholarship grants for the students, both in elementary and tertiary academic institutions, provision of free transportation for the citizens, empowerment programmes for the traders and artisans, construction of boreholes for the supply of potable water, settlement of hospital bills, provision of lots more were the tasks accomplished by the organisation thus far.
” Under these arrangements, several traders, men and women, were provided with seed capitals while the artisans like Carpenters, Plumbers, Vulcanisers,Tailors, Bricklayers and a host of others were kitted with modern tools and equipment to enhance their efficiency at work”, he said.
The foundation Head added, “the objectives of the organisation are to complement the government’s efforts in the provision of basic social amenities to the populace, assists the needy and promote the quality of life among the citizens”
While pointing out that government should not be seen as all in all,but limited in its functions owing to the scarce financial resources confronting it, Dr Timothy said the organisation is planning to expand its scope of operations to include sports development,viz; Soccer, Sprinting and Table Tennis,just to mention a few”.
Dr Timothy noted that several widows shall be empowered while the orphans shall be provided with varieties of food items and choice drinks for the Christmas celebrations.
