Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore has distanced himself from a purported statement that Senator Ademola Adeleke is the best choice of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  to defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
The APC Chieftain in a statement personal signed by him said contrary to insinuation, the statement in question never emanated from him but from Bankole Omisore, who is a former Special Assistant (New Media) to ex-senate President, Bukola Saraki.
According to Senator Omisore, it was unfortunate that some people who are bent of playing politics on anything  on sight could be attributing a remarked posted on another person’s official Twitter page to him.
” It is suprising that some elements are always out to be mischievous of any available issue just score cheap political point. How can a posted by Bankole Omisore on his Twitter page be attributed to me.”, he said.
Senator Omisore added, ” this is another blackmail taken too far. The truth of it is that the statement is not from me and should not be ascribe to me”
He maintained that the  Vanguard Report with the Caption ” Only-Ademola Adeleke-can-win-osun-for-PDP” was attributed to Bankole Omisore who cannot speak for him in any regard

Senator Omisore stressed, ” my stand on the Osun state governorship election coming up this year this very clear as I have made it known that I am for the re election of Governor Gboyega Oyetola and that has been my concern and I am ready to see it to logical conclusion”.

” I am used to this political terrain of blackmail and it will never work, no amount of cheap blackmail, mis representation of facts will distract me from losing focus in joining hands with other progressive minded people and lovers of our dear state, Osun state in ensuring the return of Governor Gboyega Oyetola for the second term in office”.
