The President of the NIgeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod who is also the Zonal Representative on the board from the North West Zone, has been invited to maiden edition of the Captain Bukar Gusau Metropolis Volleyball Challenge Championship.
The invite sent to him which was sighted by our correspondent, was dated January 28, 2022, but delivered on February 2.
According to the letter, signed by the Secretary Organising Committee, Lawal Musa, the event is billed for serve off on February 11 and would end two days later on 13.
It informed that the championship will be held at the Army Cantontment Volleyball Courts from 9am daily.
Musa also informed that the championship which is being organized by the Zamfara State Volleyball Association would be holding a technical meeting by 5pm on February 10.
The Organising Secretary said that the championship is geared towards development of the game.
“It is based on our collective interest, determination, commitment and general passion for the growth and development of sports especially volleyball in our dear state, Zone and NIgeria at large. Looking forward to seeing you,” the letter said.
