Permit me to therefore, to  join our dearest people of Lagos State, other well-wishers and indeed Nigerians as a whole in enthusiastic prayers for your guidance and protection by the Almighty Allah (SWT) in the discharge of your vast responsibilities as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come May 29 this year.

In this regard, I must not forget to congratulate and remind Your Excellency, to always strive to do his very best in improving the lots of our people with particular reference to the present situation in Nigeria from insecurity, overwintering economy, health sector, education and to the power sector which should the largest employers of labour but regrettably hmm!!!.

The journey for the renewed, greater and new Nigeria is possible with your vigor’ especially your heart-felt acceptance speech to carry all Nigerians along irrespective of the tribe, religion and political affiliations. Your Excellency Sir, with your avowed speech of running a unity government and that, ‘’political competition must now give way to political conciliation and inclusive governance together we shall build a brighter and more productive society for today, tomorrow and for years to come.’’ Fantastic speech indeed. Nigerians will certainly hold you accountable when you assume the mantle of leadership fully by May 29th, this year Inshaa Allah.

The new administration of President -elect has a lot to do with the hallucination of developmental problems ranging from insecurity, perceived hatred, epileptic power, bad roads, corruption and other sundry issues too glaringly to ignore in its entirety. This dispensation must do more to sustain the peace; we can’t afford to do beyond expectations amongst Nigerians. Your Excellency you saw the atmosphere before the presidential election Alhamdulillah, you came out victorious despite upheavals in some quarters. Your Excellency must put aside political differences in the fight against insurgency, banditry, kidnapping and corruption and above the electoral processes requires more reforms.

You are indeed a paragon n all ramifications. Very importantly and pivotal as well in the areas of making political appointments the right people must be in right places to avoid misplacement of priority. Good trusted and dependable Nigerians are everywhere that help I actualization of your policies and programmes. Your Excellency Sir, your ability to assemble formidable team of individuals with proven characters of technical-knowhow is an acid-test on your part. We have a lot of technocrats who are genuinely in tandem with your political ideology of getting the job done for the interest of Nigerians is what is needed now because, we can’t wait to see your administration tax-on. Sir, all eyes on you to perform to the expectations to the generality of Nigerians at this critical time in the annals of this country. Your appointments must be people- centered with fresh names not recycled individuals whom the law of diminishing returns have caught up with. We know you as a talents hunter and mentoring roles over decades of your political sojourn. We expect to see that more in this administration.

Consequently, the heat up to the 2023 General Election has come and gone. INEC has declared you as the 16th President -elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with many doubting ‘’Thomas’s‘’ then. APC government must not forget to pay homage to those courageous most obvious is His Excellency, the Executive governor of Kaduna Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai who doubles as our political Mentor despite open criticisms from some quarters and other Nigerians who made sacrifices of their times and resources to ensure that You become President of the most populated nation in Africa today, we must salute you all. Now the ball before Your Excellency Sir, is to ensure that the right pegs are put in the right holes by demonstrating genuine leadership style devoid of vendetta in other words, be magnanimous in your victory.  El-Rufai unarguably the ‘Hero’ of the 2023 Presidential election.

The herculean and enormous political task before the APC government in the area of security, nothing works in the peak of insecurity. One of the indices of development is security of lives and property. And one of the functions of government is the security of lives. We must do it differently this time around as a people. Human lives must be guaranteed under watch. People must go about their normal lives without fears of being kidnapped or killed.

Nigerians are yearning to see the change mantra slogans of APC translate into positivism in all sectors of the economy in their domain, so, no stone should be left unturned in this quest for a better and flourishing Nigeria.

On the Economy and security, everyone knows that BAT has a gigantic task before him. And it appears that has recognized that he who controls the Power sector and the labour Market controls the economy, hence the power sector should not be left in the hands of the politicians. They are not investors at all.

Finally, steady and affordable electricity supply is the surest way to the full industrialization of every nation and Nigeria is no an exception . Power sector is the heart beat of the Nigerian economy just like the petroleum; it must not be left in the hand of people who do not have the expertise and the wherewithal to manage it. This all important sector of this magnitude should not be privatized at all and if these great Nationalists below had privatized it would we have met any?  In fact, all privatized entities must be reviewed to meet the best global practices.

In recent times Nigerian leaders appear to have misread our mission. Our founding fathers, Mr. Herbert Macauley, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Alhaji Ahmadu Bello, Alhaji Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Malam Aminu Kano, Chief J.S. Tarka, Mr. Eyo Ita, Chief Denis Osadeby, Chief Ladoke Akintola and their colleagues worked to establish certain standards of governance. They might have differed in their methods or tactics or details, but they were united in establishing a viable and progressive country. Some of their successors behaved like spoilt children breaking everything and bringing disorder to the house.

Furthermore, we as Nigerians must remind ourselves that we are heirs to great civilizations: Shehu Othman Dan fodio’s caliphate, the Kanem Borno Empire, the Oyo Empire, the Benin Empire and King Jaja’s formidable domain. The blood of those great ancestors flow in our veins and so also the blood of the impoverished will continue to cry to heaven. What is now required is to build on these legacies, to modernize and uplift Nigeria.
