Only Through Interagency Collaboration Can Insecurity Be Curbed – Oyo CP

The new Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, CP Adebola Hamzat today, advocated collaborative effort with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps “NSCDC’ towards combating insecurity in Oyo  state. 

CP  Hamzat made the call  during a courtesy visit to the Oyo State Command of the NSCDC headquarters at Agodi, Ibadan 

The Commissioner of Police emphasized the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to continue working with Civil Defence and other sister agencies in the state for positive results.

CP Hamzat further enjoined the two agencies to work in unison without rivalry towards enhancing adequate security of lives and property in the state. 

He however, appreciated the warm reception he received from the NSCDC Command.

Receiving CP Hamzat, Oyo State Commandant of the NSCDC, Dr Michael Adaralewa lauded the new Commissioner of Police,CP Adebola Hamzat, for the trust reposed in NSCDC 

Dr Adaralewa and assured CP Hamzat of the Corps’ readiness to partner with the Police Force especially in information gathering geared towards tackling insecurity in the state.

Commandant Adaralewa later used the medium to admonished the citizens of the State to always furnish the two sister agencies with credible information that will help to nip crime in the bud.
