Oba Olatunde Oginni Donates Conveniences Facility To Iyaganku Area Police Command

In a bid to create more conducive environment for the officers of the Nigeria Police,  a traditional leader, Oba Olatunde Oginni JP on Thursday, donated a block of two convenience facilities for the Central Police Station, Iyaganku Area Command, Ibadan.

The conveniences, consisting of two toilets was commissioned by the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, CP Adebola Hamzat who was represented by the Deputy Commissioner in charge of Administration, DCP Bello Adams Mohammed.

Oba Oginni who was represented during the commissioning by the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Zonal Chairman for Zone XI, Otunba Obafemi Arowosola said the welfare of the Nigerian Police is always paramount to him because he has many friends among them.

The traditional ruler stressed that he is always ready to contribute and assist the officers of the law in whatever way it is deemed possible because he appreciates what they do.

Oba Oginni  however dedicated the convenience facilities to ACP (Otunba) Olusola Agoyi, the Area Commander of Iyaganku Area Command, according to the inscription on the plaque erected at the toilet, saying the ACP is a good friend and in recognition of his good work since he has assumed duty as the Area commander.

CP Adebola Hamzat while speaking through DCP Mohammed thanked the donor, describing his gesture as a timely intervention to improve sanitation within the Iyaganku area command .

CP Hamzat stressed that the gesture will go a long way to ease the stress of the seniors Police officers that will be utilizing the facilities.
