Nunbu Community In Sanga LGA Lauds Kaduna Govt Over Establishment Of BATC College, Advocates Establishment Of JAMB Centre

following the recent establishment of a Business Apprenticeship  and Vocational Technical College (BATC) in Numbu Community  of Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State by the Governor Nasir Ahmed el-Rufa’i-led administration to boost vocational and technical education in the area, people in the community have expressed satisfaction over the August gift and enjoined each other to support and vote for  the continuity of the All Progressives Congress (APC)  administration in the state.

The chairman of the Numbu Community Development Association (NUMDA) and the Kaduna State Chairman of the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN), Alhaji Mohammed Numbu made the commendation when he led community elders to the Principal of the BATC College in Numbu, Mr Nehemiah Gambo on a familiarisation visit  in Gwantu.

Alhaji Mohammed Umar Numbu who holds the traditional title of “Dangaladiman Numbu” said the establishment of the BATC College in Sanga Local Government Area is the first of its kind in the area and would remain indelible in the annals of the historical development of the local government area.

The chairman of the Numbu Community Development Association further appealed to the Kaduna State Government to also establish a Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Center in the school to alleviate the suffering of secondary school leavers in Sanga Local Government Area.

According to the leader of the Numbu Community Development Association, the JAMB centre when established, would address the untold hardship being faced by students seeking for admission into tertiary institutions of learning and parents alike.

He commended the untiring efforts of the state’s Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe on the  solemn resolve and desire to entrench lasting peace and development, especially for the downtrodden in Sanga Local Government Area.

Alhaji Mohammed Umar Numbu then admonished the principal of the BATC College, Mr Nehemiah Gambo who is also an indigene of Sanga, to employ the necessary machineries towards  effecting  positive vocational and technical education revolution in the area.

The Kaduna State RIFAN chairman  further enjoined the good people of the area and indeed Southern Kaduna to continue to support the ongoing rural transformation drive of the present APC-led administration in Kaduna State.

Responding, the pioneer principal of the BATC College in Numbu, Mr Nehemiah Gambo expressed joy over the visit by the elders of the  community and pledged his readiness to entrench grassroots development through vocational and technical education in Sanga.

Mr Nehemiah Gambo however, appealed for genuine support and advise with a view to enabling the college succeed.

In a remarks, the Village Head of Numbu, Alh Ibrahim Salihu  prayed for the continuity of the APC-led administration in Kaduna State and expressed the community’s resolve to support and protect the college.

Alh Ibrahim Salihu also described the establishment of the BATC College in Numbu as unprecedented, adding that the ongoing rural transformation drive of the present APC administration in Kaduna State is yielding results.
