NNPP Katsina Exco, Supporters Resign From Party




All executive members of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Katsina State, including the Chairman, Honourable Sani Liti Yankwani with teaming supporters across the state have relinquished their membership and positions in the party.

 A letter of Notification of the resignation signed by the state chairman, Honourable Sani Liti Yankwani to the acting national chairman of the party in Abuja, said,  “We the undersigned and our teaming supporters across the state decided to relinquish our membership and our positions in the party.

“We are very much grateful to the National Leader in person of Engr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso for the opportunity given to us to serve in various capacity,” the letter added.

Similarly it said, “We also thank the former chairman of the party Professor Rufa’i Alkali for his leadership and maturity he has shown during his tenure.”

However, “We also thank the entire National Working Committee of the Party. We say a very big thank you for your contribution.”

The Executive Officers of the NNPP who tendered their resignation include,  the state chairman, Honourable Sani Liti Yankwani; A Hadi Mai’adua Vice Chairman Funtua Zone; Sale Halisu Mashi Ph.D, Vice Chairman Daura Zone; Honourable Bello Abbas Usman State Auditor; Alhaji Sabi’u Ibrahim Sullubawa Assistant Financial Secretary and Adamu Guga  Ex – Officio.

Others are, Alhaji Danjuma Taballawa Assistant Legal Adviser; Hajiya Ubaida Sanusi State Women leader; Hajiya Rabi Dankaba Women leader Daura Zone; Shehu Labo Assistant Treasurer and Abdulaziz Mohammed Daura Zone Youth leader.

Consequently, the North West Zonal Chairman of the NNPP, Honourable Shehu M. Bello was in Katsina  on a fact finding mission where he was informed by Katsina State acting chairman of the party, Umar Ahmad Jibril on need for more unity and understanding among NNPP faithful across the state.

 Ahmad  jibril emphasized the importance of reminding people of Katsina state on the activities of party.assuring that, following the Resignation of the state party chairman, Honourable Sani Liti Yankwani and other stakeholders, 

NNPP in Katsina State would continue to exist and called on the party’s Supporters at all levels to remain loyal for more success.
