The Senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial District, Hezekiah Ayuba Dimka has, condemned the Sunday attack on some communities in Kanam Local Government Area of Plateau State, even as he called for the presence of security in the area.
On Sunday, April 10, 2022 more than 100 persons were said to have been killed in the attack and scores abducted as confirmed by the Executive Chairman, Hon Dr Dayyabu Garba when Senator Dimka visited Dengi, the headquarters of Kanam LGA on Monday.
He reiterated his call on the Federal Government and its security agencies to come to the rescue.
Senator Hezekiah Ayuba Dimka who described the horrendous killing and wanton destruction of property as too many, disheartening, sad and unfortunate, however, reiterated his call on the Federal government to come to the rescue of the state.
Dimka, a retired Commissioner of Police, called on security agencies to intensify efforts by investigating the masterminds of the killings.
